Oct 13, 2018 · I am not sure how "large" the 48 is. I have a 10A mounted on the 1640 and works well enough. The 12" bucket is the max with the hard clay around here. Still have the other subframe around here for the 5100 the backhoe was original mounted on. There are backhoes on the JD web site in the compact utility tractor sections.
